Whoa! What a freakin fun day!
We did everything.
We woke up and Sam, me, and the other Sam each took turns showering.
Dude! Sam's Bathroom is Huge!
It has a big round tub along with a shower in the other corner
of the bathroom and one huge mirror lining the entire wall and
counter top.
Gah. It was very interesting seeing my entire (Sexy! ;)
body naked in the room mirror. O.O
(Why did I just type this in???)
Anyway, I diverge.
So, then we went to my house to pick up some computer monitors so that
we can have a LAN Party and to get rid of some old monitors I had.
Then we went to Office Depot to drop off some those old monitors I had.
Then we went to Fry's Electronics to see how much a 42" Plasma TV on sale was and
if they had computer sound systems on sale too.
Alas, Sam ended up buying a Panasonic 42" Plasma TV off the Internet.
Shipping it cost $250 bucks, but it was $1000 cheaper than anywhere else still!
Woo Hoo. I can't wait to see it sometime this week.
Then we can have an awesome Anime Gathering.
Oh. Yeah we need a Surround Sound system too.
After Fry's we went to WinCo Foods to get all the Meat and Food for the BBQ.
[Okay gotta sleep now so I can go to work early.
More later.]
WinCo Foods is Awesome!
For those of you who are lucky enough to live in Renton and Kent I would recommend
going to WinCo Foods on Hwy 167 and 212th. It's right next to Hwy 167 on the East Side of the Highway.
They have tons of food at really awesome prices!
I think Costco has some competion now.
So yeah. Check it out.

The BBQ was really nice and relaxing.
We BBQ'd Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Marinated Pork Loins, and Marinated Citrus Chicken.
I helped prepare the Marinated Pork and Chicken. Learning new receipes is fun.
mmMM Yum.
We also played the Appleseed Movie Trailer, The Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Movie Trailer, and
played Halo on my Xbox.
Looking Forward to Aki Matsuri this Weekend...

-CV

*sigh*
Damn! I didn't expect to get a freakin headache from
my Jimmy! ^^;
Yesterday was a great day of celebration for Kate's new
journey.
It started out okay.
I orginally wanted to go to the ANCEA meeting in the morning,
but one of my business customers called me with a computer problem.
So instead, I went to service my customer. At least, I was paid well for it. ^_^
Then Kate called me and I went her house.
I got there in just half and hour from Edmonds to Federal Way.
I had never gone to HD Hot Spurs. So I took her there for lunch.
We both had spare ribs. Yummy! ^_^
Then we got some spirits for the party.
[From Work on Monday]
By the time we were done with lunch and getting spirits,
it was time to pick Dessa up from the Kent Park and Ride.
Dessa had taken the transit system down from Edmonds to be at
Kate's Party.
The ironic thing was that I was in Edmonds in the morning to handle
computer problem at the Doctors office.
But, neither of us would have known about that fact anyway.
So, such is life.
After picking up Dessa at around 2:30pm we then went to Chris' place.
Yay!
Chris is Great! XD
He is so nice to allow us to use his apartment for the Party.
It's always fun hanging out at his apartment.
We can't thank Chris enough. Thanks so much Chris!!
Unfortunately, Anne had to leave for work at 4pm just as we arrived to party
at 3pm. >.<
Anyway, we watched Blazing Saddles, which I had never seen before.
It was a really messed up, but funny movie.
All the jokes were just so wrong politically. But, that's what made it so funny.
Then we played Dalmoudy for a while, then we played Apples to Apples.
All this time I only had a can of beer and a couple shots of my Jimmy. >^.^<
But, hell. That was enough to make me dizzy... ^^;
I'm such a light weight when it comes to alcohol.
Then we watched Animal House.
During this time a bunch of friends that I hadn't seen in a while showed up.
It was great to see them again.
I hope we can see each other more often.
Especially, now that my life has started to settle down more.
Anyway, after all that activity, Chris went to pick Anne up from work.
Yay!
However, I had to drive Dessa back home to Edmonds.
So, I still didn't get to hang out with Anne much during the celebrations. @_@
Well. There will be other times.
All in all, it was a wonderful send off for Kate.

[Sunday Morning]
As I sit here now.
I'm enjoying the dawn of a new day and watching the morning sun.

-CV

Ahhh!
Gah. I barely have time to read and update my LJs these days.

Well. I had a decent week capped off with an excellent Friday night
ghost hunting. Yes. Ghost Hunting.
This was my first time doing this and I'm not easily scared.
But, this was really creepy.
Me, Jeff, Joe, and Liz went out to North Bend at around 9pm
Jeff brought his audio recorder and flash camera
and I brought my Camcorder.
We went to a dark park with no lights and thick woods and a misty trail.
It was really spooky.
I also brought my trusty Head Lamp.
Liz thought my Head Lamp was really cools so I let her borrow it as we walked in the dark.
Jeff got some really interesting photos of glowing orbs in the background of the pictures he took in the dark.
Then we went to Coal Creek Park near the Abandoned Coal Mines
where Coal Miners died. It was pitch black there and we didn't go very far into the darkness cause it was just too spooky, Especially for Joe.
Since Joe knew a lot about the history of these places, he seemed the most
spooked of us all. I could tell that he was really aware of the ghostly potential in the places we go to... It started to get me feeling creepy...
It seems like your eyes can play tricks on you. I saw things moving around
in the distance.
I took as much video as I could before my Camcorder Battery died out.
We will need to get together to watch my video footage at some point.
That was fun though. It's so good to get out of town once in a while.

Yesterday and today was perfect weather.
Even though it's clear and sunny the temperature is soo much cooler.
It's a beautiful day for a Wedding. ^_^
Yay! I'm going to a friends Wedding today.
I'm listening to the U2 song, "It's a Beautiful Day!"
Later tonight I will be on an Argosy Cruise Boat at the Wedding Reception.
I'm looking forward to lovely girls in pretty dresses tonight! ^_-

Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful weekend too.
Talk to ya later.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for being absent for the last month.
I had some demons that I had to slay.
I think I've finally crushed most of them.

So. How is everyone doing?

I had a pretty nice weekend.
On Saturday, I went to a picnic at the shores of Lake Washington at Gene Coulon Park,
set up by Jeff and hung out with some friends there.
It was nice talking to Chris and Anne after not seeing them for a while.
Jeff is great for setting up these gatherings and I look forward to attending more of them.
We got a really nice shaded area under a couple of trees.
So it wasn't too hot with the shade a breeze from the Lake.
The big problem was just getting there and finding parking.
It was just way too crowded with people.
Opening of Salmon fishing didn't help at all.
The line of cars meant a lot of people waiting for hours in line.
I felt sorry for Robert. Cause he tried to get to the park,
but the line was just too long and so he had to turn away and go back home. >.<
I decided to park at the north parking lot of Fry's Electronics and walk to the park.
After the picnic, I went to a Mariners game with a friend and her church group.
It was nice even though the Mariners lost badly.
The sunset was incredible.

Well. Back to my work.
